Loma Linda Academy (LLA) is a Seventh-day Adventist K-12 college preparatory WASC-accredited school[3] in Loma Linda, California, United States. Loma Linda Academy comprises three separate, semi-autonomous schools: Loma Linda Elementary (LLE), an elementary school; Loma Linda Academy Junior High, a junior high school; and Loma Linda Academy, a high school. Each school has its own principal in addition to the head principal. The school was founded June 13, 1906[1] with six students, barely a year after Ellen White had encouraged the fledgling church to establish a church and sanitarium there.[6]

Loma Linda Elementary includes kindergarten through sixth grade. The current interim principal of the elementary school is Dr. Cyril Connelly.
Loma Linda Academy Junior High comprises seventh and eighth grades. The current principal is Gordon Day.
Loma Linda Academy includes ninth through twelfth grades. The position of high school principal is currently filled by Robert Skoretz. The principal before Skoretz was Dr. Bob Dennis, and the previous high school principal before Dennis was Brent Baldwin, who took over as principal for the 2005-2006 school year. Before Baldwin, Doug Herrmann was the high school principal for 17 years. He left to become an associate superintendent of education for the Southeastern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The high school has an attendance of more than 450 students. The High School has an extremely high college bound rate, with 99% of its students enrolling in college after graduation.[7] Of those that attend college, 75% attend a four-year university, while the other 24% attend a two-year college.
All students in K-12 are required to take physical education until they have three years worth of PE in high school. The junior high and high schools also have sports teams which compete against other schools throughout Southern California.
The high school sports program has teams on both the men's and women's junior varsity and varsity level. Junior varsity and varsity teams exist for flag football, soccer, basketball,[8] baseball & softball, golf, cheerleading, and volleyball. These teams play in the CIF Southern Section.
The school has made uniforms compulsory for all students since the 2004-2005 school year. The uniforms are from the company True Grits.
